There is no charge for the event itself but we request you RSVP by October 12. Come join us for our informational public appreciation open house from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday October 13 at the GLD Enterprises & Productions studio at 3604 N Lake Shore Dr. in Jamestown. This event is our way to say thanks to our clients for our success over the last year and introduce visitors to the full range of services available from GLD Enterprises & Productions. Let us give you a real view of what we have to offer from entertainment and creative services to technology support and motivational lectures. Come and enjoy refreshments, demonstrations, music, and a huge indoor garage sale where you can find everything from antiques to computer equipment. Visitors will also be able to browse the Studio Museum featuring a collection of performance memorabilia spanning Gery’s two decades in the entertainment industry. Included in the display are props used in television shows and movies like “The Mask of Zorro,” and “The Rundown” as well as gifts given to Gery & Scout by prominent professionals in the business.
At 2:30 PM Gery L. Deer will present his motivational lecture "Working to Live” Synopsis: "Your future is what you make of it. So make it a good one." - Dr. Emmet Brown from Back to the Future III. Every day we get up, go to work, come home, make dinner, take the kids to practice, feed the cat, clean the house, do the dishes, and so on and so on. Every day we say, "someday I'm going to ..." but never actually do whatever it is for fear of failure, ridicule, or whatever. For many people, overcoming adversity in life has conditioned them to want more than the proverbial ‘gold watch’ has to offer. Gery will talk about how we end up doing the things that we do and share his unique experiences which might just help you learn to identify your passions and go after them. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to win door prizes and take advantage of some great specials from our affiliate companies: Deer Computer Consulting, Ltd., GLD Enterprises & Productions Entertainment, and GLD Enterprises Whip Artistry Studio.!

During the open house, for a $10 donation to the GLD Enterprises Whip Artistry Studio, you can get a 10-minute lesson on whip artistry, juggling, trick roping, or western gun spinning.
